What this rule requires your agency to do

Requires home health agencies to protect and promote the rights of each individual under their care, including rights to informed consent, to refuse treatment, to participate in care planning, to be treated with dignity and free from abuse, to voice grievances, to confidentiality, and to be informed of charges. Agencies must also inform patients of the New Mexico home health agency hotline and of advance directive rights, and must provide written notice of patient/client rights.
