Applies to: personal care / home care (supportive home assistants employed by licensed home care agencies)

Oklahoma requires supportive home assistants (the state's personal care aide role) working for licensed home care agencies to complete agency-based training per 63 O.S. § 1-1962(B) and pass both a written/oral and a skills competency examination administered by a Department-approved testing entity. Subchapter 6 sets the administration, content, passing, failure, and expiration rules for that competency exam.
