Applies to: Home and community-based personal care / attendant services providers reimbursed by Maryland Medicaid

Maryland's Medicaid regulation requiring providers of personal care / HCBS attendant services to use a Department-approved Electronic Visit Verification system to electronically record service details, register and train system users, protect participant PHI, and submit compliant EVV-based claims. Reimbursement is denied for services not properly EVV-recorded.
