What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1On inspection, the administrator or alternate must provide all clinical/client records and administrative records (complaints, meeting minutes, quality assurance, annual program review) to the surveyor within 30 minutes of request, and provide accurate, truthful information (subsection (i)).(KAR 28-51-101 — Licensing procedure)
- 2Each licensee must notify the department in writing at least 30 days before permanent closure, notify each patient/client (and guardian) within 30 days before closure, develop a discharge/transfer plan, transfer records to the receiving agency, and mail the license to the department at end of the last service day (subsection (k)).(KAR 28-51-101 — Licensing procedure)
- 3No person shall provide home health services, HCBS, or supportive care services before a license is issued; initial applicants must submit the department application form, the applicable nonrefundable fee, and copies of policies/procedures required by K.A.R. 28-51-103, 104, 117, and 118 (subsection (a)).(KAR 28-51-101 — Licensing procedure)
