What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1EVV is not required where the caregiver providing the service lives with the person receiving care (no in-home visit), nor for PCA provided in congregate residential settings with 24-hour service.(Electronic Visit Verification FAQs)
- 2Providers of PCA services and covered DDD/MLTSS services requiring an in-home visit must use EVV beginning January 1, 2021, collecting the six required data points (type of service, person served, dates, location, name of caregiver, times of service).(Electronic Visit Verification FAQs)
