Applies to: personal care

Enumerates the rights of home health patients and requires the agency to inform each patient (in a language and manner they understand) of these rights and to protect and promote their exercise. Rights include respect, freedom from abuse/neglect/misappropriation, complaints, participation in the plan of care, confidential records, advance notice of charges and coverage, the state hot line, and non-discrimination/non-reprisal.
