Reminder of EVV Requirements for Personal Care Service Providers

What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1Visit data must be sent to EAS in near-real-time: providers send records to the EVV vendor at least once a day, and vendors send all records to EAS at least once daily; weekly or monthly submission is out of compliance.(Reminder of EVV Requirements for Personal Care Service Providers)
- 2Providers must have an authorized staff member log into EAS at least once weekly to verify accuracy of visit data; agencies with no data in EAS are out of compliance and subject to sanctions or contract termination.(Reminder of EVV Requirements for Personal Care Service Providers)

- 4All providers of Medicaid-funded personal care services must use EVV to document services delivered in the participant's home (required since January 1, 2021) and exchange visit data with the Sandata-hosted EAS.(Reminder of EVV Requirements for Personal Care Service Providers)
