Section 245.75 of the Illinois Home Health, Home Services, and Home Nursing Agency Code requires every licensed agency to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures, adhere to CDC/USPHS/HHS guidelines, and (for home health agencies) maintain a coordinated agency-wide infection surveillance and prevention program integrated with its QAPI program, including staff/patient/caregiver education.
