What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1Prior to hiring an employee who may have contact with a participant, a provider must obtain a Pennsylvania State Police criminal history report (for 2-year residents) or an FBI Federal criminal history report (for non-residents).(55 Pa. Code § 52.19 - Criminal history checks)
- 2Criminal history checks must be conducted in accordance with the Older Adults Protective Services Act and 6 Pa. Code Chapter 15, with the final report retained per § 52.15.(55 Pa. Code § 52.19 - Criminal history checks)
