What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1A Consumer-Directed Services (CDS) employer must ensure EVV is used to document the equivalent personal care services delivered under the CDS option for the applicable Medicaid programs. (1 TAC § 354.4005(b))(1 Tex. Admin. Code § 354.4005 - Personal Care Services that Require the Use of EVV)
- 2The program provider must ensure EVV is used to document personal assistance services, CFC PAS/HAB, in-home respite, and protective supervision provided under the STAR Health, STAR Kids, and STAR+PLUS managed care programs. - 3The program provider must ensure EVV is used to document CFC Personal Assistance Services (CFC PAS) and CFC Habilitation (CFC HAB) provided in the traditional Medicaid/fee-for-service model, including for STAR members receiving PCS through fee-for-service. - 5The program provider must ensure EVV is used to document personal attendant services, including services provided under the Service Responsibility Option (SRO), in the Community Attendant Services and Primary Home Care programs. Texas HHSC rule requiring program providers and Consumer-Directed Services (CDS) employers to ensure that service providers use Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to document the delivery of personal care services (personal attendant services, CFC PAS/HAB, in-home respite, protective supervision, etc.) across the full range of Medicaid fee-for-service, waiver, and managed care programs. Part of the EVV subchapter (Subchapter O) adopted effective Jan. 1, 2024.
