Applies to: personal care services and home health care services requiring in-home visits; excludes congregate residential settings with 24-hour service

Wyoming Medicaid requires Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for personal care services (effective Jan 1, 2019) and home health care services (effective Jan 1, 2023) that require in-home visits, pursuant to the 21st Century Cures Act. EVV systems must electronically capture six data elements for each visit. In-home visits exclude congregate residential settings with 24-hour service available. Non-compliance subjects the state to a reduced FMAP penalty.
