What this rule requires your agency to do

  • 3For members receiving more than 24 units of service per week, the provider RN or LPN must complete a face-to-face in-home supervisory visit every two months (within 62 calendar days); for members receiving 24 units or less weekly, at least every three months (within 92 calendar days) (§1407.1.1.1-.2).(Part II Policies & Procedures for EDWP (CCSP and SOURCE) Personal Support Services — Q3 July 2026)
  • 4The Personal Support Aide must document services provided to each member each time service is delivered via paper document and/or the electronic submission system/EVV (Netsmart), capturing date of service, arrival and departure times, hours provided, and specific tasks performed (§1407.1.5).(Part II Policies & Procedures for EDWP (CCSP and SOURCE) Personal Support Services — Q3 July 2026)

  • 7Each aide must receive at least 8 hours of in-service training per calendar year, including Basic First Aid, Infection Control, Body Mechanics, Nutrition, and CPR, with documentation of topics maintained (§1408.3.4).(Part II Policies & Procedures for EDWP (CCSP and SOURCE) Personal Support Services — Q3 July 2026)
