What this rule requires your agency to do

• 1The agency or registry must monitor a provisionally hired applicant awaiting a criminal background check through random direct observation and consumer feedback, documented in the file.(28 Pa. Code § 611.54 - Provisional hiring)
• 2Provisional hire may not exceed 30 days for a 2-year-plus Pennsylvania resident or 90 days for a non-resident; the individual must be terminated/removed immediately if disqualified or if clearances are not provided in time.(28 Pa. Code § 611.54 - Provisional hiring)
