What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1Include in that policy, where within the agency's scope of services, elements for initial assessment and reassessment; start of care, placing services on hold, transfer, and discharge; and care planning (para. (1), (2), (11)).(26 TAC 558.281 — Client Care Policies)
- 2Include policy elements for clinical procedures the staff will perform (e.g., dressing changes, Foley catheter changes, wound irrigation, administration of medication), IV services, psychiatric nursing procedures, and pediatric client care as applicable (para.
