What this rule requires your agency to do

- 3When the agency has cause to believe (knows, suspects, or receives an allegation) that a client was abused, neglected, or exploited by an agency employee, report the information immediately, meaning within 24 hours (subsec. Requires a HCSSA to adopt and enforce a written policy for reporting alleged abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a client by an agency employee, and to report immediately (within 24 hours) to both DFPS and HHSC when it has cause to believe such conduct occurred.
