What this rule requires your agency to do

  • 1LRIs approved (active status) for attendant care initiated by 1/17/2024 were approved to continue providing attendant care only until July 1, 2024.(Paid Family Caregivers - Attendant Care and Structured Family Care Caregiver Relationship Guidance (Effective July 1, 2024))
  • 2A legal guardian of an adult (including a parent who is also the designated guardian) may provide up to 40 hours of Attendant Care per week per guardian; additional authorized hours must be provided by other attendant staff.(Paid Family Caregivers - Attendant Care and Structured Family Care Caregiver Relationship Guidance (Effective July 1, 2024))
