What this rule requires your agency to do

  • 1Health care service firms must be accredited, both initially and on an ongoing basis, by an accreditation organization approved by the Department.(N.J.A.C. 10:60-1.3 - Providers eligible to participate)
  • 2Once approved, the provider must remain in good standing by successfully completing provider revalidation when requested by DMAHS.(N.J.A.C. 10:60-1.3 - Providers eligible to participate)
  • 3To be approved as a Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare-participating provider, the applicant must have a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) and a valid taxonomy code obtained from the NPPES.(N.J.A.C. 10:60-1.3 - Providers eligible to participate)
  • 4Out-of-State home health agencies serving Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare beneficiaries out of State must meet that state's requirements, including licensure if applicable, and all applicable Federal requirements.(N.J.A.C. 10:60-1.3 - Providers eligible to participate)
