Applies to: personal care services; home care; home health; Medicaid HCBS in-home services

Vermont Medicaid, administered by DVHA in partnership with DAIL and VDH, requires Electronic Visit Verification for in-home personal care and home health services to comply with the federal 21st Century Cures Act. EVV electronically captures six data elements for each visit, and beginning July 2022 Medicaid funds cannot pay for covered in-home services not recorded through EVV.
