NAC 449.3981 requires a licensed agency to provide personal care services in the home to conduct an initial screening of each prospective client, develop or accept a service plan, and complete a set of pre-service steps (verifying capacity, reviewing services/schedule/grievance and prohibited-services information with the client, and coordinating with other providers) before personal care is delivered. All screening actions must be dated and signed by the person who conducted the screening.
