What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1A provider must develop and implement written policies and procedures on the prevention, reporting, notification, investigation, and management of critical incidents.(55 Pa. Code § 52.17 - Critical incident and risk management)
- 2A provider must report a critical incident involving a participant to the Department or the SCE, or both, on a form prescribed by the Department.(55 Pa. Code § 52.17 - Critical incident and risk management)
- 3A provider must reduce the number of preventable incidents and document the reduction methods on its Quality Management Plan (QMP).(55 Pa. Code § 52.17 - Critical incident and risk management)
