What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1Provider agencies must interface EVV data via their vendor with the aggregator solution (EAS) at a frequency of at least once daily for all days EVV services are provided.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 2Provider agencies must report replacement of their contracted EVV vendor to MMAC within thirty (30) days of the effective date.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 3Provider agencies must log into the aggregator solution upon initial connection and at least once weekly thereafter to ensure capture, functionality, and accuracy of visit data.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 4Provider agencies must report any suspected falsification of EVV data to MMAC within two (2) business days of discovery.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 5All EVV visit data must be retained a minimum of six (6) years as required by 13 CSR 70-3.030(3)(A)16.F, and records must be furnished/made available for inspection or audit by DSS or its representative upon request.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 6Provider agencies must identify all direct care workers in EVV by their Family Care Safety Registrant (FCSR) number as assigned per 19 CSR 30-80.010 to .040.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 7Manual visit entry may be used only when the EVV system is unavailable or exigent circumstances make usage impossible/impractical; the agency must enter justification documentation including the date/time, reason, and identity of the person making the entry, and manual call-in/out entries must be created by a supervisor or administrator (not the worker or participant who generated the original visit).(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 8Provider agencies must contract with a Department-approved EVV vendor and utilize EVV with the correct procedure code and modifiers for all covered in-home visits as a condition of participation.(13 CSR 70-3.320 Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
