What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1The provider must submit EVV data to the Oregon Health Authority on a monthly basis using the Authority's designated template/reporting channel. (OAR 410-127-0046(3))(Or. Admin. Code (OAR) 410-127-0046 - Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 2The provider must not alter EVV data before submission; captured EVV data (including start/end times and geo-location) must be reported as recorded, and non-compliant services are ineligible for payment and subject to denial or recovery. - 3The provider must ensure its EVV solution captures the visit start time and end time to the minute; solutions that do not capture start and end time to the minute are not EVV compliant. (OAR 410-127-0046(2)(a))(Or. Admin. Code (OAR) 410-127-0046 - Electronic Visit Verification (EVV))
- 4The provider must capture and report the required EVV data elements: provider agency number, individual rendering provider name, client prime number, service date, start and end time (to the minute), geo-location of service delivery, and type of service performed. - 5The provider (Home Health Care Agency) must comply with Section 12006(a) of the 21st Century Cures Act by electronically verifying home health services using an EVV system consistent with Oregon Medicaid's selected Provider Choice Model. OAR 410-127-0046 implements the federal 21st Century Cures Act Section 12006(a) EVV mandate for Oregon Medicaid Home Health Care Agencies. It requires agencies to electronically verify home health visits using the state-selected Provider Choice Model, capturing prescribed data elements (including start/end times to the minute and geo-location) and to submit certified monthly EVV reports to OHA.
