What this rule requires your agency to do
- 1A home health agency that arranges home health services with another agency shall establish a written agreement identifying each service, ensuring conformity to the plan of care, controlling changes, describing supervision, requiring contract personnel to record progress notes, assuring the contract agency meets personnel/qualification requirements, and specifying the agreement term and review frequency (Section 5(6)).(902 KAR 20:081 Section 5 — Provision of Services)
- 2A home health aide visit for personal care and related health services shall be ordered by a physician, APRN, or PA and included in an approved plan of care (Section 5(5)).(902 KAR 20:081 Section 5 — Provision of Services)
- 3Physical, speech, or occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, and medical social services provided or arranged shall be furnished per a physician/APRN/PA written order and by or under the supervision of the appropriately qualified/licensed practitioner (Section 5(4)(a)-(c)).(902 KAR 20:081 Section 5 — Provision of Services)
