What this rule requires your agency to do

Requires each attendant to gain working knowledge of the licensing chapter and complete a supervised training program before independently serving clients, specifies the mandatory training content (client rights/confidentiality, aging/disability needs, communication, first aid/CPR, personal care techniques, emergencies, nutrition, bowel/bladder and skin care, infection control, body mechanics), and requires the agency to evaluate competency and to have evidence of training completion within the 12 months before the attendant first provides care.
